TELUS tech director joins Cloud Leaders at Cloud & 5G LIVE
TELUS’ Director of Technology Strategy and Architecture Samer Geissah has joined the Cloud & 5G LIVE line up as a panellist on The Cloud Leaders Forum.
He will speak alongside seasoned Richard Simon, CTO of T-Systems International - part of Deutsche Telekom - and André Vieira, Operations Intelligence Offer Lead at Celfocus.

Who is Director of Technology Strategy at TELUS Samer Geissah?
Joining Canadian telco TELUS in 2018, Geissah leads a team of senior managers, pal technology architects, business development heads to analyse, define, architect, trial/PoC, evaluate partners via RfI/RfP solutions and services for the 5G services for consumer and enterprise. Another part of his role is interacting with end customer CTO/CIOs to explain the vision and propose collaboration models. He plays a pivotal role in defining the strategy, business model and technology options of TELUS's 5G, IoT, edge compute and smart cities technology road-maps.
Before joining TELUS, Geissah worked for the UAE's fastest growing mobile communications and technology provider, du Telecom for more than 13 years working through a number of executive roles, eventually becoming VP of Innovation. Previous to this he worked for German multinational technology conglomerate Siemens.

Five themes will guide attendees through this year’s bumper two-day event: The Future of Cloud Computing, The Future of 5G, Women in Cloud & 5G, Cloud & Infrastructure, 5G Network Transformation.
Day one will cover the vast and ever-evolving subject of 5G, followed by cloud and sustainability across day two.
