Joining IFS from Three where she led the brand’s digital transformation programme, Finch’s new role as IFS’ CIO will see her oversee the continuation of the company’s digital transformation journey and work with the executive leadership team to maximise the adoption of AI across the entire organisation, driving productivity and effectiveness. A recognised key industry leader, her values have been recognised with accolades such as Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2022, CIO of the Year Finalist and MVNO’s World Congress Woman of the Year Awards 2023.

Job To: Group CIO, Airtel Africa

Having worked in IT for 28 years, Barkhuizen is now in charge of Airtel's IT services in 14 African countries. Having been CIO of Vodacom for more than two years, his move to Airtel Barkhuizen will bring the company a wealth of experience and expertise spanning a variety of sectors including retail, financial services and telecommunications.

Following the departure of outgoing CEO Allison Kirkby over the summer, Hofbauer has taken over the top job at the Swedish telecommunications company. “I am ready to continue executing Telia’s strategy and move forward with its digital transformation programme,” he said of his appointment.
