With Kyndryl, telecommunications company Telefónica de Argentina is transforming to enhance its customers’ digital experience

One of Argentina’s largest telephone and internet service operators has selected Kyndryl to accelerate the modernisation of its technology environments.

As part of a three-year agreement, the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, will manage Telefónica de Argentina’s hybrid cloud infrastructure and integrate automation to add efficiency, improving services and application experience of its customers in Argentina.

Mariano Ragognetti, Managing Director, Kyndryl Argentina, said: “Telefónica de Argentina relies on a robust technological infrastructure to offer the best services to its customers. We are proud to be able to support its automation and modernisation efforts while helping maximise the resilience, efficiency, flexibility and competitiveness that the business requires.”

Kyndryl to advise and implement IT automation for Telefónica de Argentina

As well as managing Telefónica de Argentina’s mission-critical infrastructure, Kyndryl Consult will advise and implement IT automation to improve business application management. Led by Kyndryl Consult experts, teams will integrate and assess data obtained from different business processes to identify automation opportunities that could improve IT systems and provide insights to enhance application performance.

The National Institute of Statistics and Census of Argentina (INDEC) reported that last year, 89% of surveyed Argentineans used mobile phones and 88% had access to some type of internet connectivity. Telefónica de Argentina works to ensure its users have digital autonomy and interact with their applications in a more stable and fast way.
