Telecoms World Middle East, a key event for the mobile industry in the region, recently took place in Dubai, bringing together professionals and experts from across the telecommunications sector.
The two-day event, held at Madinat Jumeirah from 28-29 May, featured over 150 speakers discussing current trends and new technologies shaping the industry. Topics covered included the development of 5G networks, the growth of connected devices, advancements in network infrastructure and improvements in network security.

As official media partners of TWME 2024, Mobile Magazine spoke with Mritunjoy Singh, Group COO & Board Member at consulting organisation Quintica. He spoke about Quintica’s presence at TWME and its focus on transforming the telco business in the region, and discussed the challenges telcos in the Middle East are facing together.
Mritunjoy also discussed AI and Gen AI – the “biggest buzz” – as being key to this transformation, and also highlighted the role organisations like Quintica have in shaping the growing telecommunications industry.
