Telecoms World Middle East, a key event for the mobile industry in the region, recently took place in Dubai, bringing together professionals and experts from across the telecommunications sector.
The two-day event, held at Madinat Jumeirah from 28-29 May, featured over 150 speakers discussing current trends and new technologies shaping the industry. Topics covered included the development of 5G networks, the growth of connected devices, advancements in network infrastructure and improvements in network security.

As official media partners of TWME 2024, Mobile Magazine spoke with Mayoor Mahendra, VP Networks at customer engagement, revenue management and payments solutions leader CSG. Mayoor spoke about CSG’s offering and the importance of the region to the company. He also discussed the challenges CSG is solving for its customers and the need for telcos to improve their infrastructure.
Mayoor also highlighted the challenges in transitioning from legacy networks and the need for mobile operators to partner with vendors to help them monetise and grow their networks.
