Executive profile: Staffan Göjeryd, CEO of Arelion
Appointed to the role of Telia Carrier’s (now Arelion) CEO is August 2016, Staffan Göjeryd has helped drive the company to its global position in the mobile and connectivity industries.
Prior to this role, Göjeryd held both technical and customer-facing positions at Telia Carrier covering Europe and North America. These include Director of Network Planning and head of Telia Carrier´s Data and Infrastructure business.

Despite having a detailed knowledge of connectivity Göjeryd says that his main focus is on Arelion’s customers, who have been a major part of his journey towards becoming the company’s CEO. Göjeryd has also been Arelion’s COO as the Vice President of Data and Infrastructure.
He has also been involved in the sales industry, holding a position with CAIS in 1996. The majority of his career, however, has been with Telia, at which he has also been the company’s Vice President of Product Management and the Director of Resource Network Lifecycle.
In his spare time, Göjeryd enjoys playing golf, a sport he is both passionate about and accomplished at, and he holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Linköping University.
