Job To: Board Member, AST SpaceMobile

“As a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut. Now, I get to be part of a company that will forever change mobile communications.”

Johan Wibergh has been appointed to the board at US-based direct-to-mobile satellite startup AST SpaceMobile, a collaborator with Vodafone, where Johan previously served as CTO. He has also been appointed Chairman of the Board’s newly formed Network Planning and Spectrum Committee, which will lead network features and capacity planning of the satellite constellation.

Johan is based in Saint James, Barbados, and has an MSc in Computer Science, from Linköping University. In addition to his seven years at Vodafone, John spent six years at Ericsson, working up from Vice President of Customer Support to President Nordic & Baltics.

Job From: CEO of Sky UK & Ireland 

Job To: CEO of VodafoneZiggo

Stephen van Rooyen has been appointed CEO of VodafoneZiggo, a Dutch joint venture between Vodafone Group and Liberty Global, headquartered in Utrecht.

“Having been based in London for many years, I look forward to a new experience, for both me and my family, living and working in the Netherlands,” Srephen said.

Young Hyun Jun

Job From : CEO of Samsung SDI

Job To : Samsung, Head of Device Solutions (DS) Division

Young Hyun Jun has been named as the new Head of Device Solutions (DS) Division at Samsung, where he will lead the semiconductor business and advance its competitiveness across the global business environment. He has previously worked across DRAM, Flash memory development and strategic marketing.
