Gift Zowa has officially been appointed as the CEO of Broadband Infraco, having held the interim position since November 2023. He succeeds former CEO Andrew Matseke and will serve a five-year term.
As a long-term executive figure in the telco space, he was previously Broadband Infraco’s CTO for 11 years. Beforehand, he started his career at Siemens, before becoming the Head of Telecommunications at Sentech. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in electrical and electronic engineering and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.
According to Broadband Infraco, Gift Zowa holds extensive expertise across the telecommunications and ICT sectors, with strong knowledge of strategic management and business leadership capabilities. It’s hoped he will lead the company to new heights as it seeks to provide long-distance national and international connectivity to licensed private sector partners, national projects and underserved areas.
