We profile ZTE, the cloud company that offers 5G products from cloud platforms to hardware devices and SDN Controllers

A global leader in telecommunications and information technology, ZTE was founded in 1985 and listed on the Hong Kong and Shenzen Stock Exchanges. It provides innovative technologies and integrated solutions for global operators, government and enterprise organisations, as well as consumers across 160 countries.

One of the company’s core values is technology innovation which provides more than 10% of annual revenue in its R&D. ZTE has established global R&D centres in countries such as the United States, Sweden, China, and others. Looking towards the future, ZTE says it will focus on its ‘core competitiveness’ in independent innovation in the 5G era. It hopes to accelerate the global commercial deployment of the network and leverage its end-to-end 5G products and solutions.

As CEO and Executive Director, Xu Ziyang leads ZTE’s management alongside Chairman and Executive Director Li Zixue and Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer Wang Xiyu. 

The team also includes Gu Junying, the Executive Director and Executive Vice President; Li Ying, another Executive Vice President and the company’s Chief Financial Officer; and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Xie Junshi.
